The Nunatsiavut Housing Commission is sharing a helpful Home Maintenance Checklist for residents and tenants throughout Nunatsiavut.

Regular home maintenance can help protect your home, save energy, improve indoor air quality, reduce repair costs, and support a safe living environment for you and your family.

The checklist includes simple reminders for important areas of the home, including:

Furnace maintenance
Air exchanger cleaning
Carbon monoxide monitor safety
Wood stove and chimney care
Range hood vent filters
Hot water tank flushing
Smoke detector testing

Residents are encouraged to review the checklist regularly and complete seasonal maintenance tasks where applicable.
