The Housing Case Manager reports to the Director of Housing. This position provides comprehensive support and services to individuals and families in Nunatsiavut (all five communities) as well as supporting the NHС with regular administrative tasks. This role involves assessing applications, screening applications against established criteria for completeness, connecting clients with resources, and support services to achieve sustainable housing solutions.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Housing Inspector is responsible for inspecting residential properties to ensure they meet safety, health, and quality standards as set by the Nunatsiavut Housing Commission. This role involves conducting detailed inspections, documenting findings, recommending necessary repairs or improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
